Sam specializes in helping adults weighed down by Anxiety, Obsessions & Compulssions ,and Perfectionism reclaim a rich meaningful life.

His clients have said they like working with him because he’s warm, friendly, and genuine, but also direct, straight forward, and action oriented.

Sam founded Thriving Minds in 2020 and enjoys supervising and educating other therapists.

Alyx Monteith

Alyx specializes in helping deeply feeling adults as they navigate trauma, anxiety, self-worth, periods of change, or relationship issues. Her work supports them into deeper self-understanding, healing from the past, and finding new ways of relating.

She is a naturally a gentle person, who will also be clear and honest about what she notices. With care, compassion, and a touch of humour she invites clients to explore their experience, discover new possibilities, and take steps toward a more fulfilling and connected life.

Will Hodges

Registered Clinical Counsellor

Will specializes in helping adults navigate the lasting impacts of trauma, grief, addiction, anxiety, and depression. He is especially passionate about supporting survivors of trauma, including those who have experienced sexual abuse and first responders.

Clients can expect a warm, compassionate, and accepting space, alongside gentle challenge when it supports growth. He believes that healing happens within a safe therapeutic relationship, where painful experiences can be processed, old patterns understood, and lasting change can begin
